Travel from Ninh Binh, Tam Coc, or Trang An to Cuc Phuong with an English-speaking guide such as Hoa or Viet. Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, walk through rainforest to a 1,000-year-old Cay Cho tree, see an ancient cave, and eat Vietnamese food in the park. Expect about 6 km of walking, mud in wet weather, and possible leeches.
